FAQ Ok, let me take the time to answer a few questions that have recently come up or just get asked way too much. 2016: The SmashSomeStuff Project was retired in the Summer of 2009. This site lives on as an archive. How much can I donate? How old are you guys? Like ten? Why should I donate? What do I get out of it? Why don't you guys just sell the stuff on ebay or something instead of smashing it? You guys have inspired me to smash stuff! How can I show that you guys inspired me/my site? This is f*cking stupid! You guys are idiots!! Why are you wasting money on this stuff when you could help needy charities? Are you just a bunch of rich kids and get like $500 allowances? Do you guys just take your own cash and buy the stuff to smash?! You guys are freaks! I just want to duct tape you to a tree and beat you! Your site sickens me! Ive seen all your videos and they suck! What is the name of the song playing in the ____ episode? What is the name of the song playing in the intro to all of the episodes? Is uploading one of your videos to my Myspace profile a violation of your Creative Commons License? Why did you quit smashing stuff? We are not forcing anyone to donate money towards our projects. Nor will we donate any money we raise for projects. Are you just a bunch of rich kids and get like $500 allowances? - We are NOT rich at all and, like any other person, would love to have $500 a week for easy tasks. Do you guys just take your own cash and buy the stuff to smash?! - No, we do NOT use our own money. (Well occasionally I will spend $5 because I contribute here and there) But the money is mainly raised in donations from people who wish to see the "object(s)" smashed. You guys are freaks! We encourage people to share (copy, distribute and transmit) our episodes through other video sharing / community sites such as Myspace and YouTube. Theres only so many things one can destroy too, we felt we ended the site on a good note and destroying anything else wouldn't have been in our interests. As to why the sites forums were closed and the shell of what you see now is left as an archive of times that once were. Lets hope this has clarified everything.
